The veil of secrecy is lifting... at least a little bit, as the Air Force has authorized the release of artist renderings of a stealthy B-21 Raider concept in hangars at a number of Air Force bases. The images picture the B-21 in hangars at Dyess, Whiteman and Ellsworth AFBs and show some of the differences that are already becoming evident between the previous B-2 flying wing concept and the Next-Generation B-21 Raider. The House Science Committee late last week released H.R. 5666, the authorization bill for NASA. An authorization bill does not appropriate funds, but does give insight to other legislators and affected agencies as to what the committee is willing to fund in future budgets.

NASA Grants KBR The Right To Train Private Astronauts At NASA Facilities

First Such Authorization To Be Awarded By The Agency

NASA has signed a Space Act Agreement with KBR to make it the first company to train private astronauts at NASA facilities. KBR currently holds the only agreement with NASA to provide these services using the agency's facilities and capabilities.

U.S. Space & Rocket Center Conducting Nationwide Leadership Search

Accepting Applications For CEO And Executive Director

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is conducting a nationwide search for a CEO and Executive Director to lead the Center, which houses the world's largest collection of space artifacts and is home to the internationally renowned Space Camp education programs. The Center also serves as the official visitor information center for NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, is a TVA visitor center and is a Smithsonian Affiliate museum.
