League, but recent developments suggest that real live races may,
in fact, be in our future. XPrize Founder Peter Diamandis updated
ANN a few weeks back while celebrated the fifth anniversary of the
awarding of the Ansari XPrize.
United Space Alliance (USA) received NASA's highest honor for
quality and performance - the 2009 George M. Low Award -
recognizing the company's commitment to teamwork, safety, customer
service, and technical and managerial excellence.
Students in elementary and middle schools nationwide will have
their questions about space answered live on Sunday by space
shuttle astronauts orbiting 220 miles above Earth.
