A Qantas 737 flew far below minimum altitude on a flight from

Federal immigration agents raided a Navy contractor Tuesday,

For the second time in less than a week, a commercial flight
from Europe was diverted to Bangor, ME, Tuesday because one of the
passengers' names popped up on a no-fly list. But this time,
officials say the man in question was indeed banned from commercial
flights to the US.

changes need be made to this year's schedule of events.
Ibis Aerospace Ltd. announced at the 5th annual European
Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva that its
Ae270 Propjet is in the final stages of certification by European
and United States airworthiness authorities. The Ae270 is a
single-engine turboprop aircraft designed to function as both a
utility and executive transport. The aircraft will be certified
under FAR Part 23 Normal category and eligible for FAR Part 135 IFR
operations. The Ae270 was first introduced publicly in 1999, and
its first flight was completed in July 2000. The aircraft was
recently exhibited with an executive interior at the National
Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual meeting and convention
in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Cessna Reports First Standardization Of Avionics Cable In
Citation Series
Cessna says it's has established a new level of parts
commonality for the Citation CJ1+, CJ2+, and CJ3 by developing a
uniform avionics cable assembly that stretches across all three
models. This marks the first time Cessna has had a standard
avionics cable assembly that may be used in more than one Citation
model.
Socata Aircraft Receives Customer
Service Excellence Award From Its Owners
The Socata TB Users Group likes the company so much they
recently presented Socata Aircraft (the US-based arm of EADS
Socata) with an award for Customer Service Excellence at its annual
East-coast flyin, held this year at the Aviation Museum of Kentucky
in Lexington.
"It was shredded by a multi-barrelled 20mm cannon. They have
worked out that's what caused the crash."
