After a gear collapse at Reno's Stead Field in pre-race testing
in 2004 removed this promising plane from contention in the Sport
class, the many fans and supporters of Jon and Patricia Sharp's
Team Nemesis were looking forward to seeing the plane at Oshkosh.
But they didn't show!

The world of aviation is feeling a great deal of anticipation
about a surge of light-sport aircraft. There was significant
fanfare about two new aircraft emerging at this press conference,
one of which was the Nexaer, a brand new design out of Colorado
Springs, Colorado.

A long-standing tradition at AirVenture Oshkosh is the daily
0700 wake-up yodel. Bill Rickets was the EAA volunteer who
encouraged sleepy Camp Scholler visitors out of bed each morning
and welcomed early convention-day visitors. Sadly, Bill passed away
on June 21st after a battle with lung cancer.
