WomenVenture 2021 Scheduled For July 28

Will Be  Prominent Part Of Part Of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh From July 26 to August 1

For the 13th year, women of all ages will have the opportunity to share their passion for aviation on Wednesday, July 28, during EAA WomenVenture 2021, part of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh from July 26 to August 1. EAA WomenVenture is designed to inspire women to build camaraderie, celebrate the joy of aviation, and open doors to mentorship moments that encourage women to pursue their dreams in aviation. "WomenVenture has become a fixture of the AirVenture experience for thousands of women every year," said Margaret Viola, WomenVenture Volunteer Chair and EAA member.

NTSB Prelim: PZL Warszawa-Okecie PZL-104

'Veered Abruptly To The Right And It Exited The Runway Pavement'

On May 29, 2021, at 1451 central daylight time, a PZL Warszawa-Okecie PZL-104 airplane, N124MS, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident at the Pearland Regional Airport (LVJ), Pearland, Texas. The pilot was fatally injured; the passenger was seriously injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) data indicated that the flight departed the Texas Gulf Coast Regional Airport (LBX) at 1406.
