The Academy of Model Aeronautics is continuing to analyze the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018, passed by the House last week, by the Senate Wednesday, and which is expected to be signed by the President soon. The group says there are some pluses and minuses in the bill for those who enjoy flying model airplanes.
Thirteen Students From Across The Country Awarded A Record Amount Of AMA Scholarships In 2018
The Academy of Model Aeronautics has helped graduating seniors achieve their dreams since 1970 with individual scholarships ranging from $500-$8,000 each year. This year, a record amount of $59,000 total was awarded to students. This increase was made possible through the incredible support of AMA members and AMA Foundation patrons across the country. AMA has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships since founding the scholarship program.
