The U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the “Thunderbirds,” will be flying over the Las Vegas metropolitan area during their return flights to Nellis Air Force Base from air shows outside the city limits. Terre Haute Added To B-29 Doc Flight Experience Tour in September

Doc Is Starting To Get Around!

The B-29 Doc Flight Experience Tour will land in Terre Haute, IN, for B-29 Doc Flight Experience rides Sept. 26 and 27, 2020. Doc will arrive at Terre Haute Airport Saturday, September 26, and will be available for warbird rides Saturday evening, Sept. 26 and Sunday morning, Sept 27. The tour stop in Terre Haute will be hosted by Hoosier Aviation (581 S Airport St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). The flight schedule for the B-29 Doc Flight Experience rides will be 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Sept. 26 and 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., Sept. 27.

Norfolk-Based E-2 Hawkeye Crashes, Crew Recovered

Four Navy Crew Persons Bail Out

It's been a tough day for a Navy flight crew... An E-2C Hawkeye, assigned to Airborne Command & Control Squadron (VAW) 120 Fleet Replacement Squadron onboard Naval Station Norfolk, crashed in the vicinity of Wallops Island, Aug. 31. A Navy spokesperson noted that, "“The E-2 crashed at approximately 3:50 p.m. The two pilots and two crew members bailed out of the aircraft safely through the main cabin door. At the time of the crash, the E-2 was conducting a training flight... The pilots and aircrew bailed out of the aircraft using parachutes located in the aircraft.
