T-38C Talon pilots and maintainers with the 12th Flying Training Wing will begin using newly-developed, multifunction display covers this month. The covers are expected to save the wing $182,000 a year in broken MFDs, at the cost of only $3,600 -- just a little more than a quarter of the price for a single repaired MFD.

Bell Helicopter To Supply Army With New Metal OH-58D Cabins

Will Extend The Kiowa Warrior Service Life 'For Many Years'

Bell Helicopter has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Army valued at more than $61 million to supply 12 new metal OH-58D Kiowa Warrior cabins and 12 supplemental parts kits. The new metal cabins will be manufactured at Bell Helicopter's facility in Amarillo, Texas with deliveries to begin January 2015.

The Duke Of Cambridge Has Completed His Tour Of Duty With The Search And Rescue Force At RAF Valley

During his last shift, Flight Lieutenant William Wales and his crew had an uneventful 24 hours which ended at 9.30am on Tuesday, 10 September 2013. During the preceding 24 hours, they conducted a routine training flight, but thankfully, there were no incidents requiring their services across North Wales or the Irish Sea.
