The Air Force closed another chapter in the T-38 Talon aircraft
modification process as the last two upgraded aircraft arrived the
end of August at Randolph Air Force Base. The aircraft underwent
such a major change that Air Force officials redesignated it the
T-38C.
The FAA tells ANN that it will provide funding to four airports
to help them convert from military to civilian use. The airports
selected are Portsmouth International Airport, Portsmouth, NH;
Sawyer International Airport, Marquette, MI; Plattsburgh
International Airport, Plattsburgh, NY; and Killeen-Fort Hood
Regional Airport, Killeen, TX.
