440th Airlift Wing Airmen Developed Plan Still Used Today
Almost three years have passed since the 440th Airlift Wing at
Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina started flying Integrated
CONUS Medical Operations Plan (ICMOP) missions.
Boeing was recently awarded a five-year US Army contract valued
at $4.3 billion for 181 CH-47F Chinooks and 10 additional Chinooks
under Fiscal Year 2008 supplemental funding. There are options in
the award for an additional 24 aircraft over the course of the
contract.
System Protects Aircraft Against Surface-To-Air Missiles
Alliant Techsystems announced Tuesdat it will host an AAR-47
Users Conference January 21 and 22, 2009 at its Clearwater, FL
facility. The purpose of this conference is to provide AN/AAR-47
international users with a forum for discussion of issues
concerning the purchase, operation, maintenance and repair of the
AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning System.
