The National Guard Youth Foundation (NGYF) is partnering with Civil Air Patrol (CAP), the official Auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, to launch an aviation and aerospace-focused science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education initiative for cadets of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. The new initiative provides STEM training resources to all ChalleNGe participants across the country to prepare cadets for the job market’s growing demand for employees with STEM skills.
New Variant On Track To Be Certified For Flight In European Airspace
A significant milestone has been reached in in the Independent Research and Development (IRAD) program to design, develop, and produce a variant of the Predator B RPAfor the General Atomics Predator B unmanned aircraft. The company announced last week that it is on track to be certified for flight according to the NATO Airworthiness Standard for unmanned aircraft.
