Unique Experiences Offered At AirVenture To Honor Battle Of Britain’s 75th Anniversary
Oshkosh in July is known for its mosquitoes ... in fact some have called the pesky insects the State Bird of Wisconsin. But a different kind of Mosquito will be visiting Wittman Regional Airport this summer; a rare de Havilland Mosquito fighter/bomber, the legendary Royal Air Force aircraft from World War II, will help commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015.
