Navy Jet Team Helps Build Futures With Pensacola,
FL, Habitat For Humanity
Members of the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy's flight demonstration
squadron, joined forces with Pensacola Habitat for Humanity members
to install headers, doors and windows on houses in a Habitat
subdivision at Camshire Meadows, Pensacola, FL, June 10.
Tammy Duckworth, an Iraq veteran who was injured when the Black
Hawk helicopter she was flying was shot down during a 2004 mission
in Iraq, is stepping down as an assistant secretary of the
Department of Veterans Affairs to return to her home in
Illinois.
The Israeli military is investigating the theft of eight F-15
and F-16 engines from the Tel Nof air base near Tel Aviv, though
the military will admit through a spokeswoman only that "parts"
were taken.
