A now-retired Sikorsky VH-3D Sea King helicopter that served
four American presidents arrived Wednesday at the Richard M. Nixon
Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda, CA, where it will be
permanently displayed as part of a public exhibition opening July
1.
Long Beach lives on; at least, the Boeing plant there does. That
plant produces C-17 Globemaster IIIs, the backbone of the Air Force
transport fleet -- and Wednesday, the Pentagon announced production
of that aircraft will continue.
