Sikorsky And Terma Widen MOU As Denmark Considers MH-60R Helos

Builds On 2010 Agreement For Foreign Military Sales

Sikorsky Aircraft and Terma have extended and broadened their previously announced Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore additional potential collaborations on aircraft programs, the companies said Monday. Both the original MOU, signed in February 2010, and the new MOU are conditioned on the Danish government's decision to procure Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk helicopters via a Foreign Military Sale with the U.S.

The KC-46 Tanker program has completed a Preliminary Design Review (PDR) with the U.S. Air Force, a key milestone in the development of the next-generation aerial refueling tanker. The review, which began March 21 and ended April 27, demonstrated that the preliminary design of the KC-46A Tanker meets system requirements and establishes the basis for proceeding with detailed design.
