Simulator Will Replicate Combat Mission Environment For
Accurate System Testing
AAI Test & Training has been awarded a $9.7 million contract
to deliver an electronic warfare (EW) radio frequency (RF)
simulator for the U.S. Air Force's EW Avionics Integration Support
Facility (EWAISF), the company said Monday.
Boeing's Phantom Ray unmanned airborne system (UAS) successfully
completed its first flight April 27 at NASA's Dryden Flight
Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Phantom Ray flew to
7,500 feet and reached a speed of 178 knots.
Aircraft Scheduled To Begin Flying About 2330 Wednesday
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and its
geographical component, the Continental United States NORAD Region
(CONR), will conduct exercise Falcon Virgo 11-08 beginning
Wednesday night into early Thursday morning in the National Capital
Region, Washington, D.C.
