The search continues in the Arizona desert near the Mexican
border for a Royal Singapore Air Force pilot whose F-16C (file
photo of type, right) crashed during a training mission Wednesday
night.
Medical teams from the 791st Expeditionary Aeromedical
Evacuation Squadron assisted with the medical evacuation of a
critically ill 8-month-old Iraqi girl May 18 and 19. Fatemah Kalil
Hassan was transferred to the Children’s Hospital in
Columbus, Ohio, to undergo specialized treatment for an abnormal
growth of a blood vessel on the right side of her face and neck.
The life-threatening growth was obstructing her airway, officials
said.
The EADS North America "All American C-295 Tour" is coming to
two US Army facilities in Alabama this week as part of a 32-day
tour to demonstrate the medium-sized military airlifter's
capabilities for US Army and National Guard missions.
