Two RAF Red Arrows Involved In Midair Collision, All Safe

One Pilot Ejected Safely, The Other Aircraft Was Able To Land

Two of the Hawk jets from the RAF's Red Arrows precision aerobatic team collided during practice over Crete Tuesday. Both pilots survived the incident, though the one who was forced to eject from his aircraft suffered a dislocated shoulder and other minor injuries. One aircraft was badly damaged.

Airmen of the 432nd Air Expeditionary Wing reached a new flight milestone March 12 when they surpassed 700,000 flight hours in the MQ-1B Predator remotely piloted aircraft. The last 200,000 Predator hours were flown in just over 12 months.
