Senior White House staffers tell The Washington Post that
President Obama sent a letter recently to Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev, aimed at improving relations between the two countries.
Among the ideas reportedly put forth was a significant concession
on the hot-button topic of missile defense.
The Japanese Ministry of Defence recently signed a contract for
two EC135 helicopters with Euroheli, Eurocopter's distributor in
Japan. A second contract for three additional helicopters will
follow next year with the objective of attaining a fleet of 15
training aircraft in total for the Maritime Self-Defence
Forces.
CH-53E Contract Valued At Approximately $3,000,000
Electronics manufacturer Orbit International announced recently
its Electronics Group has received a design and qualification
contract from a leading global prime contractor to support the
CH-53E Sea Stallion helicopter upgrade program.
