Boeing To Modernize Six Netherlands CH-47F Chinooks

Deliveries Planned To Begin In 2021

Boeing and the Netherlands Ministry of Defense have signed an agreement that will upgrade six Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) Chinook helicopters to the latest F-model configuration, ensuring commonality of systems for their entire fleet of 20 F-model Chinooks. Deliveries of the six modernized Chinooks are planned to begin in 2021.

Will Develop Technology To Evaluate Systems On Multiple Aircraft

The U.S. Air Force has selected BAE Systems to design, develop, manufacture, and sustain the Bomber Armament Tester (BAT) system for the Air Force bomber fleet. The BAT system will test the operational readiness of the bomb ejector racks, rotary launchers, and pylon assemblies on board B-1B, B-2A, and B-52H aircraft under a contract worth more than $64 million.
