Flight Marks 16th Consecutive Test Of The Tomahawk Block

A US Navy Virginia class submarine recently fired a
Raytheon Tomahawk Block IV missile from the Gulf of Mexico to
engage a simulated target. The flight completes the integration of
the Tomahawk cruise missile onto the Navy's newest fast-attack
submarine, adding another platform to the list of combatant vessels
that can carry the combat-proven weapon.
Up To 20 Planes To Be Delivered Annually Over Seven Years
Britain's Royal Air Force has taken delivery of the first of 91
new Typhoon combat aircraft, ordered four years ago and delivered
on time. New Defence Equipment and Support Minister Quentin Davies
was at RAF Coningsby to witness the arrival of the second
generation Typhoons.
Further Action May Be Pending For May 17 Transgression
As if diplomatic relations between the US and Venezuela weren't
rocky enough already, a veteran naval pilot and air wing commander
apparently flew a US Navy S-3B Viking into Venezuelan airspace this
past May 17, setting off a diplomatic firestorm.
