France's Armée de l'Air Welcomes First C-130J Super Hercules

Florence Parly, France's minister of the Armed Forces, officially welcomed the country's first C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to the Armée de l'Air's 62st Transport Wing with a ceremony at Orléans-Bricy Air Base Monday. Government officials from France and the United States also attended the ceremony, along with representatives from Lockheed Martin.

RAAF Fighter Jets Fly Final Mission In The Middle East

Two Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Super Hornets have flown the Australian Air Task Group’s final strike mission over Iraq. Australian F/A-18 Hornets have conducted continuous operations in Iraq since their first mission in October 2014, flying more than 2,700 sorties over 21,000 flying hours.

Modular System Can Be Tailored To Specific Mission Requirements

Orbital ATK recently participated in the Maneuver Fires Integrated Experiment (MFIX) at Ft. Sill, OK. The event allowed soldiers to use counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technologies during a series of demonstrations to provide feedback on how these systems performed and could potentially help fill capability gaps for short range air defense.
