Uber-Compact Trig Solutions Continue to Evolve

While at EAA AirVenture 2014, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell stopped by the Trig Avionics display to find out what they’re doing about ADS-B installations. Campbell meets up with Trig Avionics CEO, Andy Davis, to talk about the Trig TN70 GPS receiver, and other Trig products. According to Davis, the TN70 GPS receiver is a stand-alone unit that does not need to interface with any existing avionics, other than the transponder, to provide ADS-B Out capability. Cool City Avionics, has announce that it has received FAA Technical Standard Order Authorization for its new family of helicopter autopilots. The TSO includes the HAP-100 2-axis autopilot, the HFC-100 2-axis autopilot with stability control and augmentation systems, known as SCAS, the HAP-150 3-axis autopilot, the HFC-150 3-axis autopilot with SCAS, and the HFC and HAP-150 LE models.
