The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) is doubling the number of awards given under the Women in Aviation Scholarship program in 2019 with the creation of two new permanently-endowed scholarships in honor of Gina Adams, Corporate Vice President of Government Affairs at FedEx, and Trish Gilbert, Executive Vice President at the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA).

Issues Criteria For Consideration In The Federal Register
The FAA is finalizing specific criteria to guide the identification and selection of appropriate circling procedures that can be considered for cancellation. These procedures include certain circling procedures (to include circling-only instrument approach procedures (IAPs) and circling minima charted on straight-in IAPs). The circling procedures associated with this cancellation initiative will be selected based on the criteria outlined in the statement of policy.
More Than 100 Scholarships Total Over A Half-Million Dollars
At WAI’s 30th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference, at least 108 individual scholarships equaling $565,000 will be awarded. As is the tradition, these scholarships are available for both flight training and scholastic funding with specific scholarships earmarked for nearly every aspect of the aviation and aerospace community.
