The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) has certified that on
May 12, 2011, the human-powered helicopter Gamera achieved lift-off
and hovered for 4.2 seconds, thereby establishing two U.S. national
records.

The Society of Aviation and Flight Educators(SAFE) has announced
the publication of its preliminary report stemming from the Pilot
Training Reform Symposium. Thirty recommendations generated during
the symposium have been consolidated into six project
