Citation Jet Pilots Association Announces 2017 Hoover Scholarship Recipients

Provides Financial Assistance and Networking Opportunities To Four Exceptional Students

The Citation Jet Pilots Owner Pilot Association (CJP) has announced the four recipients of the 2017 Bob Hoover Presidential Scholarships, presented in partnership between CJP and the Bob Hoover Legacy Foundation. In addition to receiving $25,000 each for continuing their aviation-related studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) on campuses in Prescott, AZ and Daytona Beach, FL, these exceptional students will also be introduced to a variety of important networking and mentoring opportunities through CJP to help guide them along their future career paths.

The NBAA praised congressional passage of annual appropriations legislation that increases funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and reaffirms concerns over privatization of air traffic control (ATC).

Will Provide Weather Services And Insights

Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, recently signed an agreement with The Weather Company, an IBM Business, to have The Weather Company serve as the primary weather source across Jeppesen and Boeing aviation products. Through this agreement, airlines can provide their operation centers and pilots with access to the same weather information - facilitating collaboration and building confidence in key operational decisions.
