Advanced Data Visualization And Analysis Tools Delivered Ahead Of Schedule

When severe weather strikes, forecasters at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service (NOAA/NWS) need advanced tools they can rely on to make the decisions that protect property and safeguard lives. Raytheon Company's Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System II (AWIPS II), a forecasting analysis and display toolkit, was recently installed at all coastal Atlantic NWS weather forecasting offices (WFO).

The Redhawk Program Is Proving To Be Instructive... As Expected

While at the Redbird Migration 2014, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, checked in with Peter Vincent, the sales representative for Redhawk Aircraft. The Redhawk aircraft is a uniquely modified Cessna Skyhawk that, among many other innovations, is powered by a diesel engine. Campbell asked how this innovative airplane is working out in the flight training scenario at Redbird. Vincent said that Redbird is now an all diesel operation with 3 Redhawk’s on the line.
