Attempt to Create Viral Clickbait Backfires for Extreme Sports Figure

Youtuber and adrenaline chaser Trevor Jacob has had his private pilot certificate revoked, according to recent news reports. Reportedly, journalists contacted him to confirm a letter sent to him from the FAA earlier this month that demanded he surrender his PPL or face civil penalties. In his email contact with the soon-to-be former pilot, Times reporter Eduardo Medina describes Jacob as seemingly unaware of the letter, asking where they had learned of the rescission. While the letter remains private between Jacob and the FAA, and they refuse to confirm nor deny their move, it seems quite likely they acted, given the plethora of suspicious issues with the video. <

Stuntmen Will Take Off and Land in Separate Cessnas in World First

Long time boundary-pusher and skydiver Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington, members of the Red Bull Air Force crew, will attempt to exchange planes while in flight. The stunt is the latest in a line of increasingly daring maneuvers from the crew, pushing the boundaries of skydiving and seeing just how far their techniques and daring can take them. In practice, the maneuver has been planned to have Aikins and Farrington, both pilots, put their Cessna 182s into a synchronized nosedive at 14,000 feet, stop the engines, cross over each other in mid-air and bring 'em down for a regular landing.
