Piper Aircraft has opened the application period for the 2020 Apprenticeship Program. The 2020 group, which will begin in late July will be the second apprenticeship class to begin at Piper Aircraft's world headquarters in Vero Beach, FL. The two-year program includes a combination of on-the-job training as well as classroom instruction designed to qualify the participants as a Journeyman in Aircraft Assembly. Each apprentice is a paid employee of Piper Aircraft and receives a full benefits package.
Agency Says City Also Mishandled Landing Fees And Leases
The FAA last month released a decision from a 2016 complaint filed by tenants of Santa Monica Airport which found that the city mishandled loans to its airport and discrepancies in leases.
The FAA enjoys the holidays as much as anyone, but warns that holiday laser-light displays aimed at houses become potentially dangerous when aimed into the sky.
