FAA Administrator Michael Huerta gave a detailed account of the work that was done to bring the Chicago Center back on line during a speech October 16th at the Aero Club of Washington. EASA Safety Conference On GA Comes To A Close

Agency Presented First Results Towards Achieving A More Proportional Approach To General Aviation

The EASA Safety Conference 2014 on General Aviation (GA) was closed by EASA Executive Director, Patrick Ky Thursday. The two day conference had more than 350 attendants, representing 250 organizations from 30 countries. It was one of the biggest conferences on General Aviation to be conducted in Europe with more than 50 speakers related to GA from associations, industry and authorities.

FAA To Address Proposed Rules Changes For Simulation

Agency Representatives To Attend Redbird Migration Conference

John S. Duncan, the FAA's Director of Flight Standards Service and James Viola, Manager AFS-800 have agreed to attend the Migration Flight Training and Design Conference, (October 27th- 29th) at the Redbird Skyport, San Marcos Municipal Airport (KHYI) in San Marcos, TX, to discuss the status of the FAA’s controversial proposal to change the rules of simulator use and certification.
