In the wee hours of the start of the weekend a new version of the FAA Reauthorization bill was published... and the news is mixed. The 1200 page document was released September 22nd at 0040ET... to initially mixed reviews. Some initial notes show that this five year bill does not include the draconian Privatization effort that has been aggressively fought by nearly everyone in aviation and the onerous ATC fees levied on EAA and other venues have been dropped.
