It's a tragedy that has stunned the historic aircraft community, if not all of the aviation world. Seven people were fatally injured when a Collings Foundation B-17 went down Wednesday at Bradley International Airport (KDBL) in CT. ILS PRM Approach An instrument landing system (ILS) approach conducted to parallel runways whose extended centerlines are separated by less than 4,300 feet and at least 3,000 feet where closely spaced independent approaches are permitted. Also used in conjunction with an LDA PRM, or RNAV (GPS) PRM approach to conduct Simultaneous Offset Instrument Approach (SOIA) operations. No Transgression Zone (NTZ) monitoring is required to conduct these approaches. When the runway spacing is less than 3,600 feet, the NTZ must be monitored by a Precision Runway Monitor (PRM) or other high update rate surveillance system.

"Jack" Rose in 1929, the Rose Parrakeet is a single place small bi-plane, it has an unmistakable profile and design.  It uses a classic wood truss rib, spruce spar wing construction with a fabric covered steel tube fuselage and tail surfaces.  It was certified for commercial production by the CAA (predessor to current FAA) under Type Certificate 2-514 in 1935.  The Model A-1 was originally certified with a 37hp Continental A-40-3 engine.
