A four-place all-electric airplane is the next innovation from Sun Flyer. The company announced plans for the airplane at AirVenture 2017 in July. Sun Flyer CEO, George Bye, told Aero-News editor Tom Patton at the show that, like Sun Flyer 2, Sun Flyer 4 will run completely on batteries. As a result, the four-seat airplane will have operating costs five times lower than costs associated with similar combustion-engine aircraft.
