U.S. Federal Judge Orders Boeing Arraigned on 737 MAX Fraud Charge

On Thursday, 19 January 2023, a U.S. federal judge in Texas lifted immunity from criminal prosecution granted to Boeing by the U.S. Justice Department as part of a deferred prosecution agreement struck in the wake of fraud conspiracy charges deriving of allegations that Boeing’s management had opted to deliver 737 MAX narrow-body airliners to customers despite warnings from company engineers that the aircraft’s design was inherently flawed.

Curtiss Museum, bearing the name of pioneer aviator and Hammondsport’s favorite son, is located on State Route 54, one half mile south of the village of Hammondsport, New York. Dedicated to the memory of Glenn Hammond Curtiss, the museum contains a priceless collection relating to early aviation and regional history. The museum also features a 75-seat theater, large open area for special events and a museum store. Aircraft Conflict Alert A safety alert issued by ATC to aircraft under their control if ATC is aware of an aircraft that is not under their control at an altitude which, in the controller’s judgment, places both aircraft in unsafe proximity to each other.
