Artistic and with unbounded enthusiasm, Roy Chadwick embraced
aviation as it began in 1903. He was the fifth generation of
engineers in the Chadwick family.
A large, basin-shaped volcanic depression that is more or less
circular in form. Most volcanic calderas are produced by collapse
of the roof of a magma chamber due to removal of magma by
voluminous eruptions or subterranean withdrawal of the magma,
although some calderas may be formed by explosive removal of the
upper part of a volcano.
"I have no memory of any of it -- not going to the
airport, being in the air, nothing. It's just crazy. I've never
even jumped out of a plane before. I sit here and stare and the
walls and wonder what happened and say, 'How did I get
here?'."
