Eastern Region of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association,
on news the FAA has authorized $40 million for construction of a
new control tower at New York's LaGuardia International Airport.
The new tower, which is to be completed in 2009, will replace the
aged, leaking 42-year-old tower that has caused controllers grief
for the past decade.
