Meets EASA Requirements For A Level 2 FTD

A new AW189 Flight Training Device (FTD) is available at AgustaWestland's A. Marchetti Training Academy in Sesto Calende, Italy. The device has been qualified by an EASA / ENAC joint team to FTD Level 2 as per CS-FSTD(H), and is installed in the new simulation building which will include up to nine Full Flight FFS and five FTDs (Flight Training Devices).

Leasing Company Currently Manages 18 AW Helicopters

Dublin, Ireland-based Helicopter leasing company Milestone Aviation Group announced at Helitech International that they have inked a multi-aircraft, multi-year Framework Agreement with AgustaWestland for the purchase of a "significant number" of helicopters in a combination of the AW169, AW139 and AW189 models from the AgustaWestland Family of new generation helicopters.
