The FAA has published its final rule regulating repair stations that drops the changes to the repair station rating system. It only retained the authority to deny an application for a new repair station certificate if the applicant or certain associated key individuals had materially contributed to the circumstances that caused a previous repair station certificate revocation action. Surf Air, the nation’s first All-You-Can-Fly membership airline, has ordered up to 65 new Pilatus aircraft (15 firm orders and 50 options) to be delivered over the next five years, with a total order value of approximately $312 million.
