Industry, Government Leaders To Unveil Alternative Aircraft Fuels Plan May 28

Held In Conjunction With EBACE2018 In Geneva, Switzerland

On May 28, an aviation industry Media Luncheon will be held to launch a plan to help advance the development and adoption of Sustainable Alternative Jet Fuels (SAJF), reflecting the industry’s long-standing commitment to emissions reduction, including the stated objectives of achieving a 2-percent improvement in efficiency per year from 2010 until 2020, carbon-neutral growth from 2020 onwards, and a 50-percent reduction in carbon emissions by 2050, relative to 2005.

Life Link III has announced the opening of its new air medical helicopter base in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This new base is a 24-hour operation located at the Marshfield Clinic Medical Center campus, establishing Life Link III’s eighth base throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Life Link III’s medically-configured helicopters and airplanes serve as flying intensive care units (ICUs) providing critical care prehospital services from accident scenes and from local hospitals to those that can provide specific expertise or higher level of care.
