LYTE Aviation showed off a pair of brand new, sustainable aircraft in the 40-seater SkyBus and cargo-hauling SkyTruck. The hybrid, electric VTOL aircraft sport a 4.5 tonne payload, 1,000-km range, and 300 km/hr top speed with largely conventional technology. SkyBus, SkyTruck Aim for Best of Both Worlds with Hydrogen/Electric Hybrid and Traditional Turbine Engines

LYTE Aviation showed off a pair of brand new, sustainable aircraft in the 40-seater SkyBus and cargo-hauling SkyTruck. The hybrid, electric VTOL aircraft sport a 4.5 tonne payload, 1,000-km range, and 300 km/hr top speed with largely conventional technology. The SkyBus, or LA-44, is about "5 times more efficient than traditional rotary wing aircraft", according to Lyte.
