Starlink Selected for JSX Connectivity Partner

SpaceX Internet Option Finds First In-Flight Customer

SpaceX has announced its service will enter use with small independent air carrier JSX as an in-flight internet solution. Until now, the provider has not been a high-profile option, with most opting for SmartSky or Gogo to provide service off of terrestrial Air-to-Ground networks. Starlink's satellite based service stands apart from the crowd, and according to a JSX tweet, passengers on their flights will soon be able to use the internet free of charge once rollout is complete.

Beta Raises $375 Million for AAM Cargo Aircraft

Beta Technologies Continues Marching Forward with Successful Series B Round for Alia Cargo Aircraft

The Vermont company said its Series B round was led by TPG's Rise Climate fund, with assistance from Fidelity. The $375 million brings its total valuation to $2.4 billion in its quest to develop its Alia aircraft. The investment will allow them to further develop the ecosystem required for a cargo version of the Alia, from charging to fleet support. Beta has been hard at work courting clientele for its future wares, receiving the affections of UPS and AmazonAMZN, in addition to the Air Force and United Therapeutics, among others.

Brazilian Engineering Programs to Receive Technical Support and Developmental Assistance from Local Thales Facilities

Eve Air Mobility has entered into an agreement with Thales to develop their eVTOL aircraft in Brazil. The strategic partnership will involve a series of joint studies through 2022 to examine the technical, economic, and overall feasibility of a fully electric aircraft. Thales will contributes its extensive expertise in avionics, electric, flight controls, nav systems, comms, and ergonomics to the development of Eve's aircraft.
