Belgian Leisure Travel Group Leased Aircraft From Singapore-Based BOC Aviation
Jetairfly, the Belgian subsidiary of TUI Travel PLC (“TUI Travel”) has received the first of two EMBRAER 190 leased from BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based aircraft leasing company. The aircraft was delivered during a ceremony at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The second E190 is due to follow during the first half of 2013.
Undisclosed Customer Orders Aircraft In VIP Transport Configuration
An undisclosed customer in Australia has signed an order with AgustaWestland for a VIP-transport configured AW169 light intermediate helicopter. The contract was signed with an undisclosed customer during the opening day at the Avalon Airshow on February 26th.
Open To Non-Rotary-Wing-Pilots Who Make Significant Contributions To The Industry
The Twirly Birds, a longtime social group comprised primarily of helicopter pilots has announced the nomination of two prospective associate members for 2013. Requirements for nomination as an associate member is an outstanding individual, who is not a rotary wing pilot, but has made a significant contribution to the industry for at least 20 years and have been unanimously approved by the regular Twirly Bird membership.
