Bell 505 Fleet Reaches 100,000 Hours

Light Single Helicopter Building A Name for Itself in the Affordable Helo Segment

The Bell 505 fleet has racked up more than 100,000 flight hours around the world, around 5 years after its introduction. The first customer delivery in 2017 kicked off a flurry of activity for the helicopter, proving itself a competent, capable aircraft for users in nearly any role. The worldwide 505 fleet numbers more than 360 aircraft, with more on the way says Textron. Lane Evans, director of the Bell 505's support and sales division, says the bang-for-buck performance and modernity has made it a go-to in the short light single category.

AD: Dassault Aviation Airplanes

AD 2022-02-10 Report Of An Improper Heat Treatment Process Applied During The Manufacturing Of Certain Titanium Screws

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Dassault Aviation Model FALCON 7X, FALCON 900EX, and FALCON 2000EX airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of an improper heat treatment process applied during the manufacturing of certain titanium screws. This AD requires replacement of certain titanium screws, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. This AD is effective March 15, 2022.
