DARTdrones Announces Public Safety Grant Program

Making $100,000 In Training Scholarships Available

On the anniversary of their appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank, DARTdrones has pledged $100,000 in drone training grants to public safety organizations as a way to give back. A year ago, the small team at DARTdrones eagerly awaited their moment in the spotlight, preparing to be featured on Shark Tank. Since that time, the company tripled the size of their team, expanded training to 40 cities across the country, and added curriculum that not only helps industry professionals get started in drones, but also provides police, fire, and federal agencies with drone training that can help save lives.

S-70A Black Hawk Training Now Available In West Palm Beach, Fl,  Sikorsky S-76B Training Offered In Lafayette, LA

FlightSafety International is now offering a new series of Sikorsky S-70A courses at its West Palm Beach Learning Center. They are designed to provide a path for FAA type certification and recurrent training in the S-70A Black Hawk. FlightSafety also announced at Heli-Expo that a simulator for the Sikorsky S-76B has entered service at its Learning Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.

StandardAero and Papillon Airways have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 40 retrofittable Crash-Resistant Fuel Tanks (CRFTs) in support of Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters’ fleet of Airbus AS350 B3 and EC130 B4 tour aircraft.  Installation of the first CRFT will take place this April.
