Following the establishment of the Jumpstart GA 2020 program earlier this week, The NextGen GA Fund has just announced its first order to supply basic ADS-B compliant solutions to general aviation aircraft owners, as well as introductory pricing. Will Accelerate Development Of Helicopters In Brazil

Sikorsky Aircraft and the Brazilian Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) have launched the Collaboration for Rotorcraft Innovation to accelerate the development of rotorcraft technologists in Brazil. The initiative aims to increase undergraduate exposure to rotorcraft principles as part of a well-rounded aerospace engineering education in a country whose military already flies both Black Hawk and Seahawk helicopters.

A 16-year-old Canadian got some spectacular video of fireworks at Florida's Walt Disney World on New Year's Eve, as well as shots of the new Avatar attraction under construction in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and swimmers in Typhoon Lagoon.
