Robert S. “Steve” Miller To Join Company As CEO, Boisture Stays

The Board of Directors of Hawker Beechcraft, Inc. announced today that it appointed Robert S. “Steve” Miller as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective Feb. 7. Bill Boisture, formerly Chief Executive Officer of Hawker Beechcraft, Inc., will remain as Chairman of its operating subsidiary Hawker Beechcraft Corporation.

Says That North Shore Route Creates Congestion, Safety Hazards

In a story posted on ANN last week, New York Senator Charles Schumer (D) said that he expects the FAA to impose a helicopter flight corridor which would push traffic over the water as it transited north of New York City. Jeff Smith, Chairman of the Eastern Region Helicopter Council (ERHC), sent a statement to ANN in the form of an e-mail, responding to Senator Schumer's comments.
