Marks 15 Years And 16,000 Patients Transported Throughout The State

AgustaWestland has made a contribution in the amount of $15,000 to LifeFlight of Maine, in honor of 15 years and 16,000 patients served throughout the state. LifeFlight of Maine is celebrating the occasion with a 15th Anniversary Chef’s Gala, featuring a tour of one of LifeFlight's helicopters and powerful patient testimonials.

Pratt & Whitney, Safran Microturbo Collaborate On Falcon 5X APU

Will Provide Starting And Ground Power For The New Aircraft

Pratt & Whitney AeroPower has been selected to provide its APS500[D] auxiliary power unit (APU) for the Falcon 5X business jet – Dassault Aviation's largest, most powerful twin-engine jet to date. Pratt & Whitney AeroPower is partnering with Safran Microturbo for this project. Microturbo is a Safran company. Dassault unveiled the launch of the Falcon 5X jet on Oct. 21 at the NBAA2013 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, NV.

First Delivery Of An EC130 T2 Made In The Commonwealth Of Independent States

Demand For Rotorcraft In The Region Is Growing

Eurocopter has provided the initial EC130 T2 to a customer in Kazakhstan, introducing this enhanced version of its single-engine EC130 helicopter to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a region where demand for rotorcraft is rapidly growing. The milestone EC130 T2 is configured for passenger transport, and was delivered this month from Eurocopter’s headquarters in Marignane, France.
