The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is proud to
announce its "Salute to Excellence" award winners. The 2008 "Salute
to Excellence" awards program, now in its 47th year, which
recognizes outstanding achievement performed by individuals or
companies in the international helicopter community.
Officials from Bell Helicopter announced this week the
completion of another major milestone in the development of the
Bell 429, Bell's new advanced-technology helicopter. The 429 team
has set or "frozen" the final exterior profile design, verified
through months of development flight testing.
