Finmeccanica, AgustaWestland and the Libyan Company for Aviation
Industry announced Tuesday they have signed an agreement to form a
joint venture called the Libyan Italian Advanced Technology Company
(LIATEC).
Program Held Up For Lightning Protection Installation
Raytheon Aircraft announced Monday final FAA certification for
its new Hawker 4000 (nee Horizon) twin-engine business jet will be
delayed until early February, while the company installs a
lightning protection system on the test aircraft being used for
final function and reliability testing.
'Sunport 11' Part Of Company's Plan To Nearly Double Space
On Monday, Eclipse Aviation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for
its new primary assembly building, called Sunport 11. The new
52,000 square foot space will house a new assembly and
manufacturing center, and will serve as a central hub for
Eclipse 500 production.
