China Eastern Airlines has taken delivery of its 50th A330 aircraft at a ceremony last Friday in Toulouse, France. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines, the A330-200 features a comfortable two class cabin layout seating 30 passengers in business class and 203 in economy.
First Airline In Europe To Receive The A330-300 242-Metric Ton Variant
The first new A330-300 242-metric ton Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) variant to be delivered to a European airline has been accepted by Scandinavian Airlines. The aircraft was delivered to SAS during a ceremony held at Airbus in Toulouse, France. SAS has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power its new A330-300.

Embraer's 2015-2034 Market Outlook for the Chinese market, which presents delivery projections of new aircraft over the next 20 years, forecasts that 1,020 new jet aircraft in the 70 to 130-seat segment will be delivered in China by 2034. Embraer projects worldwide deliveries of 6,350 jets, in the 70 to 130-seat segment.
